Entities

Entities are values that are embedded in your documents using an entity reference. The Entities dialog of the File menu of Interaction provide a list of the general entities that can be embedded in any document served by Interaction. You can also create your own entities based on a set of Entity Types.

Interaction has a wide selection of built-in entities. The following entities comes as optional components:

Beep
Makes a beep as an alert instead of providing a value.
Computer Applications
provides a list of the applications currently running on the server computer.
Datestamp
A chronological datestamp that can be used for sorting and date comparasions.
Document Source
Allow other webmasters and HTML authors to inspect the source markup of your locations.
Documents Search
Make your site searchable with this simple search mechanism.
Editor
Provides an editor to remotely edit or add locations from a web browser.
Entities Entity
This entity provides an overview of all entities that can be used in a particular document.
Eraser
Embeds a link that will erase the current document (e.g. a message or thread) if activated.
Member Groups
A list of the groups that a member belongs to.
Mirrorhost Entity
This entity ensures that links to mirror hosts always leads to one that is available.
Occupancy Sentence
Provides a sentence that describes how many currently are in a location, e.g.: You are the only one here. Already integrated in recent versions of Interaction.
Site Hits
Embeds the total number of requests to the site.
Welcome
A customizable greeting that appear first time the visitor come to a location. The entity also makes an alert for the webmaster that somebody has entered the place.
Whois
Query result for the whois netwide directory service of Internet users.
