Automatic Expiration
Inactive threads can be set to expire after a given number of days since last posting.
Highly Customizable
The presentation of the various pages of a forum can be customized through themes containing HTML templates or server-side XSL style sheets.
Based on Open Standards
The Interaction Forum Service is based on open standards such as XML, instead of requiring proprietary tag constructs or codes.

The Interaction Forum Service is a mature threaded forum application with more years on the web than any other commercial forum software. As early as in 1994 the predecessor to the Interaction Forums provided one of the first web-based threaded conferencing systems, inspiring many of the more recent similar applications.

The Forum Service comes as a complementary component distributed with Interaction.
