Interaction 2.5

Revised user interface that takes advantage of features provided by MacOS 8.5.1. Extends the support for server-side Extensible Markup. Implements the Document Object Model (DOM) for use in server-side scripting. See the version history for further details.

Download Interaction 2.1

The 2.1 release support for multiple sites, each with its own XML entities, locations, services, restrictions, members, and CSS style sheet. It allows back end CGI's to can take advantage of Interaction's XML processing capabilities and visitor tracking. The release intergrates SMIL (synchronized multimedia) authoring support to facilitate creation of audio-visual presentations, and has a comprehensive preferences dialog for better customization of the general features of Interaction. Download Interaction 2.0

The 2.0 release (April 27, 1998) supports partial CGI responses, support for XML 1.0, integrated Cascading Style Sheets editor, processor that builds HTML pages from XML 1.0 documents, more site management features, markup palettes and related XML and HTML authoring support, and the possibility to create multiple instances of each service. This version is optimized for Mac PowerPC.

Download Interaction 0.95 (1.9 Mb)

This is the standard version of Interaction in its pre-release version. It works for all Macintosh computers (68K and PPC) and require less memory (RAM) and hard-disk space than the Power version. However, it is quite a bit slower so if you have what it takes, you are advised to go for the power version.
