The Transcribe Chat tool of Interaction makes it possible to get a transcript from the conversations in Interaction's web based chat rooms. To transcribe one or more rooms, simply checkmark them in the Transcribe Chat dialog:
Interaction records all statements in transcribed rooms as HTML documents. The HTML file can be made available at the time of the conversation or later. As the transcript will be as the content of an HTML body tag, you can optionally use a File Entity to embed the transcript in an HTML document. File entities can be created using the New button of the Entities dialog of the File menu of Interaction.
The new Tool will show up as an item on the Tools menu after the next time you restart the application, or if you select the Edit Tools item of the Tools menu.
